Trackable geocaching tokens

CityBus pass and PathTags token
Bought a couple of all-day CityBus passes, and headed out for geocaching adventure. First stop, “Good Grief Sparky!,” which requires the user to visit a Santa Rosa landmark — where, using information we obtained on-site, we were able to obtain the coordinates we needed to locate a hidden cache.

We traveled on-foot to the nearby location designated by the coordinates. Once on-scene, we hunted around and successfully located the cache.

Inside the cache, we found a trackable token administered through PathTags.com, token #0218437. The tag’s owner/creator designed the path tag to commemorate a trip to the 2016 World Youth Day (WYD) in Krakow, Poland.

From the tag’s description online: “This will be the first WYD for both of us. We are really looking forward to seeing the sites associated with St. John Paul II and St. Faustina. We are also looking forward to going to the Mass to be said by Pope Francis. We will be using these path tags to trade with other pilgrams at WYD.”

Just imagine the route this token must have traveled, to get from Krakow to California! Finding this small treasure really contributed to a uniquely enjoyable day.
